What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis can be thought of as an altered state of consciousness in which interesting and useful abilities can be transferred into specific times and places, allowing us to erase old habits, build replacement habits that are just as automatic and, more importantly create generative change.
Everyone experiences hypnosis several times daily. The brainwaves of someone in hypnosis are the same as those of a person halfway asleep. If you've ever been so absorbed in a book or watching TV that someone had to call your name several times to get your attention, you've been in hypnosis.
