I want to thanks you again for your kind assistance in helping me quit smoking. Even now after almost one "smoke free" year, I find it hard to believe that I have really given up the habit.

As you know I was quite a dedicated smoker. Even the mere thought of quitting was somewhat repugnant (and almost terrifying) to me. I am still amazed by the fact that I smoked a cigarette on the way to your office for my first visit with you and have had no desire to smoke another one since then.

Not only did you make the process of quitting smoking quite "painless", you also made it a pleasurable learning experience. I have had new insights into my own abilities and resources that I attribute to my session with you.

Dear Wesley,

As you know, my brother-in-law William came to see the first week of January this year to see if you could help him quit smoking. I had told my sister during the holidays about your work and she was anxious for William to see you.

You see, William is the only person in our immediate family who smokes. My father battled lug cancer for almost ten years before dying recently and he had often encouraged William to quit. William tired to quit many times over the past few years with the "patch", nicoret gum, and just plain willpower, but with no success.

Even though both he and my sister were skeptical about your work, they were willing to give it a try, and our whole family is glad they did. William spent about two hours with you that Friday afternoon in January and to this day has not smoked another cigarette! that's truly amazing! No one in our family really understands what it is you did, but we are all truly grateful that you did it.
